ECAD and Architecture Practical Classes

The ECAD and Architecture practical labs comprise a practical course held over the 8 weeks of Michaelmas term. The labs aim to cover hardware design in SystemVerilog, low level software in assembler and C, and FPGA design.

This year we are not holding in-person labs, so we have restructured the course to provide exercises that can be done remotely, and we'll provide online support for those exercises. These can be completed without access to hardware.

The specific course materials and support platforms are yet to be finalised, and full details will be posted here in due course. In the meantime you might wish to follow the Online SystemVerilog tutor which forms the lab for Week 1.

Last year’s course materials are also available, although note much of the organisation of the material will change in this year's lab.
