Open Days and Events

Websites and prospectuses are great for gathering information on degree courses, but they are not a substitute for meeting the lecturers in person and exploring student life yourself. Each year we participate in a range of events that give you the opportunity to quiz those involved in running the computer science course.

Open Days 2016: June 30th July 1st

The University of Cambridge as a whole has two big open days every year, which incorporates the Computer Science annual open days. In 2015, the open days are on Thursday 30th June and Friday 1st July 2016.

The Computer Laboratory will be putting on a series of subject talks and demonstrations of student projects and faculty research. Visitors also have the chance to speak one-to-one with Directors of Studies for Computer Science, as well as explore Cambridge.

The Computer Science admissions talks will be at 1.30pm and 3.00pm on both Thursday and Friday, in Lecture Theatre 1 of the Computer Laboratory itself.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Computer Lab events, including students of any level, parents, guardians, and teachers. If you also wish to attend the Central University or college events, please see the official University Open Days page. Note that no more registrations for those central events are being taken.
