Outreach Committee

Outreach Committee

The Outreach Committee meets twice termly.

The University and Colleges of Cambridge engage with schools and colleges through an extensive range of widening participation and outreach activities. There are initiatives for all ages from primary upwards, which aim to encourage enthusiasm and educational confidence, and consolidate learning. Computer Lab teaching staff are involved with the Oxford and Cambridge Student Conferences, Easter and summer schools and the University Open days. The Outreach Committee of the Computer Laboratory works with the Cambridge Admissions Office and coordinates the Department’s activities, offering a year round programme of engagement with computer science.
