Social Program

There will be an extensive social program during the conference, starting with an opening reception on Sunday the 23rd of August. Lunch and coffee breaks will also be provided.

 

Opening reception Sunday the 23rd of August, 17.00-19.00

The opening reception will be held at Churchill College, Storey's way.

This is a great way to meet or catch up with the other conference attendees, and to register for the conference so you don't need to do that early Monday morning. Drinks and snacks will be served, and we have planned some exciting entertainment for the occasion as well. Curious? See you at 5pm on the 23rd of August to find out. Churchill also hosts our official conference accomodation, which can be booked with a 10% discount.

 

Conference dinner Monday the 24th of August, 19.00-22.00

This conference dinner will be held at Churchill College, Storey's way.

You're welcome to arrive between 7-7.15pm, and you will be welcomed with a drink. Dinner will be served precisely at 7.30pm, so please ensure you arrive on time. The Churchill dinner venue is within walking distance from the conference venue.

 

Conference banquet Tuesday the 25th of August, 19.00-22.00

This banquet will be held at the beautiful King's College, King's parade, Cambridge city centre.

Please aim for arrival at 7pm. If the weather allows, you will be welcomed at King's College with a glass of wine, and you can admire its majestic buildings from the terrace. Alternatively, you will be welcomed (still with a glass of wine or something non-alcoholic of course) at the Hall where the dinner will take place. Dinner will be served exactly at 7.30pm, so please ensure you arrive on time. More information and additional pictures can be found in this brochure.
