Question and Answer Sessions

In addition to the video lectures there will be four in-person Questions and Answer Sessions as follows:

  • Tuesday 8th February, videos 1 to 4.

    The slides are available here.

  • Thursday 17th February, videos 5 to 8.

    The slides are available here.

  • Thursday 3rd March, videos 9 to 12.

    Cancelled. (No questions submitted.)

  • Thursday 17th March, videos 13 to 16.

    Cancelled. (No questions submitted.)

These will take place in Lecture Theatre 1 at 11am. They will also be posted as videos.

The aim here is to allow the kind of interaction that traditionally would have taken place directly after a lecture. It is not the intention that these sessions should address old exam questions or material in the problem sheet - please discuss these with your supervisor.

  • I invite you to email any questions you have to me directly.
  • Don't use Moodle, Teams or anything else as I don't use them.
  • You may ask anything regarding the technical content of the relevant block of videos.
  • As it may well be the case that questions are answered most effectively with some additional material, I ask that questions are submitted up to 24 hours before the relevant session.
  • This will only work if questions are submitted: if no questions are submitted the session will not take place.
