Each contour plot corresponds to the metric "quality" predictions for the "Luminance Masking" test, while the red line corresponds to the ground truth. Metrics that align well with the psychophysical data should follow the castleCSF model (red-line) near the detection threshold. The test stimuli examples can be found here. You can click and hold the mouse on each test stimulus to view its reference image.
Alignment scores values are between 0 and 1, with higher values denoting a better alignment with the castleCSF model.
