Contrast Matching - Across Spatial Frequencies

The plots are generated with Plotly JS, please wait for few seconds for all the plots to be generated.

The plots are dynamic, you can hover over them and read the results, or zoom in and zoom out.

Each plot corresponds to the results from the "Contrast Matching across spatial frequencies" test, where different colors represent different contrast cr values. The dashed lines are human results, while the solid lines are model-predicted results. Metrics that align well with the psychophysical data should have the predicted test contrast (solid line) identical to the ground-truth test contrast (dashed line). The test stimuli examples can be found here. You can click and hold the mouse on each test stimulus to view its reference.

For each metric, we report the RMSE between the metrics optimized matched contrast and the human results, with lower values denoting a better alignment with the human data. Missing data points represent the stimuli for which the metric could not converge.
