Each contour plot corresponds to the metric "quality" predictions for the "Contrast Masking - Phase Incoherent Masking" test, while the red line corresponds to the human data. Metrics that align well with the psychophysical data should follow the ground-truth (red-line) near the discrimination threshold. The test stimuli examples can be found here. You can click and hold the mouse on each test stimulus to view its reference image.
Alignment scores values are between 0 and 1, with higher values denoting a better alignment with the human data.
