He was a founding member of the Networked Surfaces project, working on link layer, network layer, and transport layer issues for Networked Surfaces. He was also involved in the physical design of the Networked Surface prototype, as well as the use of Networked Surfaces for location information.
His current research interests include novel local area networks, mobility in TCP/IP, ubiquitous computing, and context-aware computing.
