I am investigating the application of Wireless Sensor Networks to rail infrastructure.  Specifically, I am looking at how node lifetime might be improved through Compressive Sensing, MAC improvements, and Energy Harvesting.

My other interests include electronics, embedded programming, amateur radio, and high powered rocketry and high altitude balloons.  I also play the 'cello when I can find time.
