Course homework and exercises handout (PDF, 100kB)

All students should have a copy of the course text book, Justin Zobel's Writing for computer science. Copies can be borrowed from the MPhil office (William Gates Building, room FS05) for the year, on payment of a refundable deposit.

Homework reading is to be read before the lecture.

Exercises are due before 4 p.m. on the indicated days.

Supplementary information and downloadable files for the exercises are online for Exercises 1-5 and for Exercise 6.
