Mathematical Tripos Part IA (Computer Science option)
Students taking this option attend Algebra and Geometry, Numbers and Sets, Differential Equations, Analysis I, Vector Calculus and Probability from Part IA of the Mathematical Tripos, together with the following courses from Part IA of the Computer Science Tripos: Foundations of Computer Science, Operating Systems and Programming in Java. Students intending to read Part IB of the Computer Science Tripos in their second year should attend the course on Algorithms in addition, although they will not be examined on this.
