Overview and Interests

My research supports the vision of sentient computing - a form of ubiquitous computing which uses sensors to perceive its environment and react accordingly. I focus on application-driven design and practical evaluation of wireless sensors and signal processing/pattern matching methods, and their integration to data analysis and management systems.
