Note to prospective students

I would like to supervise students who are interested in

• syntactic/semantic parsing and surface realization

• meaning representation–mediated NLP applications

• modeling human language processing, first/second language acquisition and diachronic language change

• computer-assisted language learning

I won't be a good supervisor for other research themes.

I am an MPhil or undergraduate student who needs to find a project supervisor. Can I work with you?

You are more than welcome to send me an email or meet with me to see if I have a project which suits your skills and interests. The projects I currently propose for students are listed here. I do have some other projects in mind.
