This folder contains various resources that support the University Computing Service's "XML technology: Overview" course.
This includes the course notes and slides (also in various other formats).
Also available (on another server that may not always be available) are some live examples of using XML in a web context.
The slides were authored in AxPoint. However as authored the
slides use shortcuts that need to be converted to create true AxPoint
input. The program mkpdf.pl
, along with the
XML::Filter::Transition.pm
module, can be used to process
the slides into PDF. The file axkit-x.dtd
contains a DTD
for the dialect used.
