Using Intel(r) Virtualization Technology to create an efficient IA32 virtualization environment

Sebastian Shoenberg
Intel(r) Virtualization Technology allows a platform to run multiple operating systems and applications in independent partitions. With virtualization, one computer system can function as multiple "virtual" systems. The presented talk will give an overview about this new technology and some insight into design and architecture of a virtual machine monitor that is being developed by a research group at Intel's System Technology Lab.
