Contemplating a new Internet

The US National Science Foundation has proposed a new research initiative, called Future Internet Design or FIND. They have also proposed a new infrastructure project called GENI to allow the results from FIND to be tested and deployed. This talk will describe these initiatives, and argue why it is useful to contemplate a new Internet. I will use the problem of network security to explore what options a new design might offer.
