Overview and Interests
I am looking into frequency domain equalisation (FDE) techniques for application to high bit rate broadband fixed wireless access systems. Both serial and parallel (e.g. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM)) modulation schemes will be considered. FDE is under serious consideration for this purposes owing to the fact that both OFDM and FDE utilise the fast Fourier transform (FFT) in their operation.. The efficiency and complexity of implementation will be a major driver in this research.
