An overview of Kodak Research in Cambridge

Kodak is undergoing a significant technology transformation, from analogue silver halide-based imaging to digital imaging. The presence of a Kodak Research Laboratory in Cambridge is a recognition that Kodak needs to explore new technology from key centres around the world. Cambridge provides an excellent base from which to explore relevant European technology.

This presentation will focus on the ways that Kodak is addressing its business transformation, then describe some of the activities and projects underway in the Cambridge Laboratories. Lastly, some of the core Kodak image and computer science competency will be presented and some technical challenges where we are keen to solicit help.
