  • Please note that the new precipitation sensor also records snow. In fact, it discernes between 10 types of precipitation. The text on the site still shows "Rain" for now, but the value represents Total Precipitation Amount (solid + liquid).
  • We continue to monitor the reliability of our logging systems. Starting 1st Feb, we enter in a 3-week calibration period for the new precipitation sensor, in order to assure the accuracy of its readings. The precipitation amount is now given by a Thies Clima Laser Precipitation Monitor. See the inaccuracies page for details on previous interruptions.
