Old Photos
Below are distant and closer pictures of the roof of the University of Cambridge Engineering Department, where the weather sensors were located between May 2002 and November 2003.
The sensors were all mounted on the section of roof visible through the trees. The wind and sun sensors were on top of the mast, while the temperature and rain sensors were on the railings beneath it, within the safety cage. The humidity sensor is integral to the temperature sensor.
