The Cambridge Panorama
For many years, the laboratory maintained a live panoramic view across Cambridge. Here is an archive of a typical image.
This picture was taken at Mon May 20 11:09:14 2002 . The Cambridge Panorama came about as a result of our interest in ATM Modules and the development of the Medusa Applications Environment. We re-implemented it using omniORB2, our own free high-performance CORBA 2 compliant ORB.
Every day, we also automatically generated a movie showing how the panorama changed (movie size is approximately 8MB).
