MEMORANDUM FOR THE TAPE ROOM USERS.

Hints to personel

1)	All punches should first be switched on. This makes punching of
tapes easier and eliminates over use of the hand punches which have been
blunted too often recently.

2)	Any serviceability of equipment should be reported immediately
to Mr. Kirk. It to undesirable that this should happen too often as
the shock night prove fatal.

3)	Only one person may use any given piece of equipment at a given
time. This saves Edsac 2 operators much time when dealing with the
finished tape.

4)	It is inadvisable to stand on, sit on, jump on, or drop
any heavy piece of Tape Room equipment. Serious Physical and/or
Mechanical strain may result.

5) People who wish to punch other peoples tapes must abide by the
Marquis of Queensbury Rules.
