Alan Blackwell - Affiliations
I am Reader in Interdisciplinary Design at the
Computer Laboratory
of
Cambridge University,
where I am affiliated with the
Rainbow research group.
I am co-director of
Crucible,
(the Cambridge network for research in interdisciplinary design),
a Fellow of
Darwin College,
a Research Fellow in the Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences of Anglia Ruskin University,
a Director of Living East (the cultural consortium for the East of England),
a Council Member of the
Cambridge Philosophical Society,
an Honorary Research Associate of the
School of Information Management
at Victoria University of Wellington,
and a Visiting Member of the Center
for the Integrative Study of Work
(CISW)
at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Other recent affiliations related to my research include appointments as a Fellow of the
Cambridge-MIT Institute
and Director of the EPSRC Ideas Factory programme
Bridging the Global Digital Divide.
My
PhD research, also in Cambridge,
was at the former MRC
Applied Psychology Unit,
(now the MRC
Cognition and Brain Science Unit).
My PhD was supervised by
Thomas Green (now at Leeds University).
