Slides for some presentations by Ann Copestake

Slides from 2009 for teaching introductory computational formal semantics.
Included here because they provide an introduction to MRS and its use in grammars (.tex and notes available on request).

Slacker Semantics 12th Conference of the European Chapter of the ACL (EACL 2009), Athens. There is a paper in the proceedings: Slacker Semantics: Why Superficiality, Dependency and Avoidance of Commitment can be the Right Way to Go. However the talk was more general, so I've linked to the slides here.

The Annual British Computer Society Lovelace Lecture: a tribute to Karen Sparck Jones I gave the lecture at the 2008 BCS Lovelace Awards, since Karen Sparck Jones, the award winner, died shortly after receiving the award.
