Effect of switch fabric speed

As mentioned previously, an 18 MHz fabric speed becomes a bottle neck at around 82.5 Mb/s. To ensure that this effect was understood, the ARM 6 experiment was repeated at 16.7, 15.0 and 13.33 MHz fabric speeds. The results scaled precisely linearly as expected:
