EBS assigned tag-number ranges in the reservation area ------------------------------------------------------ $Id: ebs-reservations.txt,v 1.3 2008-02-24 21:27:41+00 mgk25 Exp $ EBS is a standard file format for recording, archiving, and exchanging bio-signal data. Further information is available at: http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/ebs/ The EBS standard defines a number of attribute fields for storing additional descriptive data about the recorded bio-signal. As EBS was designed to be a general-purpose format, its specification cannot cover all attribute types that might possibly be needed by anyone in the future. For specific applications, attribute ranges are assigned to individual persons or organizations, which allows individuals to add extentions to the EBS file format without creating incompatibilities with other extentions defined independently by other EBS users. See Appendix B of the EBS specification for details. This document is the official list of attribute tag number ranges in the RESERVATION AREA that have been assigned so far to various EBS users. In order to get an assigned range, just contact Dr Markus Kuhn Computer Laboratory University of Cambridge 15 JJ Thomson Avenue Cambridge CB3 0FD England http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/ Please provide the following information in your request for a reserved attribute tag range: - Name of the person responsible for defining attribute tags in the tag number range to be assigned. - Full name of the organization for which the range is requested (or "private"). - Full contact information (postal address, phone, fax, e-mail, etc.). - Size of the range requested. We normally assign intervals of 256 positions, unless otherwise specified. The number of requested positions should be a power of two. For larger requests than 256, please include a short explanation for why you need so many new attributes.
