Roadmap

We first motivate the need for security by examining a number of hypothetical scenarios, and extract the major security requirements for multicast multimedia. We then give a brief overview of a very useful weapon in keeping streams secure - cryptography. We then discuss techniques to keep the media streams secure, ranging from solutions at the network level and at the transport level, and finally we discuss the infra-structure problems in distributing keys.
