Synchronisation

First, some definitions:

• Intra-stream synchronisation - inside a stream, need to know where in the "time structure" a bit goes
• Inter-stream - e.g. we are watching two different people and want to see their reactions to what they see of a third
• Inter-media - this is just lip-synch!
