Abstract.

A system exhibits complete resource pooling if it behaves as if there was a single pooled resource. I propose 'extent of resource pooling' as a metric for evaluating multipath routing algorithms for multipath-capable TCP.
This network with six links and two flows behaves like a single resource. The single resource represents the four links that collectively form a resource pool, i.e. a tight generalized cut constraint as described by Laws, Resource pooling in queueing networks with dynamic routing, 1992, Example 3.2.
