Prospective Part II (General) students take this course in the last two weeks of July (18-29 July in 2005). The course is mandatory, and satisfactory performance is a condition of acceptance on the Part II (General) course from October.

Diploma students take this course at the beginning of the Michaelmas Term, but any prospective Diploma students who would like to attend the July run of the course are welcome to do so.

Other students and staff of Cambridge University may attend the July run of this course, but must book a place, sending an e-mail to chn2 @ cam . ac . uk between 1 May 2005 and the start of the course.
