Co-design and Co-synthesis

Design Partition: Deciding on the number of processors, number of custom processors, and number of custom hardware blocks.

Methods (can be mixed over the chip):

• Co-design: Manual partition
• Co-synthesis: Automatic partition

Co-synthesis not currently used in practice.
