Overview and Interests
In mobile communications, bandwidth and power are precious commodities. One method of improving bandwidth-power efficiently is coded Continuous Phase Modulation (CPM). CPM has a constant signal envelope and the continuous nature of the phase leads to good spectral properties, with low out of band radiation in particular. My research entails studying coded CPM in both frequency-selective and flat fading channels.
