MRC2 - Resilient cloud computing

MRC2 was a joint research project between SRI International's Computer Science Laboratory and the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory, supported by DARPA.

Within Cambridge, this work was split between the Computer Architecture Group, the Security group and the SRG NetOS group. This project built on the CTSRD project by extending the techniques to multiprocessors and multirack systems, and added many networking components.

One of the things we've built as part of this project is a box containing seven FPGA-based servers built around the CHERI processor. This is setup to allow software developers to ssh into the system to test capability aware software.
