(My waterbed, with its warmth and easy motions, has been wonderful for a sore back; the medical people should try using waterbeds more often.) I've been told to take it easy this winter (oh no, no snow shoveling!), and it's still too early to know about long-term consequences, but so far there's no sign that these will be significant. Thanks to telecommuting, I've also been able to spend much of my convalescence finishing a neat bit of HOL programming that I hope to tell you all about at the next conference.
