Subject: LaTeX on Mac
Message-Id: <"iraun1.ira.716:27.08.93.09.29.44"@ira.uka.de>

I had the same problem, and I found out that the LaTeX
versions (Textures as well as OxTeX) are not as good
as the version I have on my UNIX workstation.
Fortunately, I found out that Tom Kiffe has converted
the UNIX version on the Macintosh. You do however not
have to run UNIX on the MAC. This version is a complete
TeX package with Metafont and a dvipreviewer and also
the latest version of dvips and dvidvi.
The package is called CMACTEX. There is a commercial
version as well as a very good public domain version.
If you are interesed in CMACTEX please mail directly to

Tom.Kiffe@math.tamu.edu

Cheers,
	Klaus
