Hi All,

First, let me thank Jeff Joyce and Carl Sager for organizing an excellent
workshop last week.  I had a good time and got some good ideas for research
for the coming year.

Now to business: The info-hol list is running again (as you can see from
this message).  Ted, the machine running the list, had a lobotomy last week
and is not feeling quite right.  Mail is working again and so is the
anonymous FTP server (albeit at a different address: ftp.cs.uidaho.edu).
The sysdudes at Idaho decided that this would be a good time to do a major
logical remodeling of the system and I can't blame them.

So, I would urge you not to hardwire the name ted into any aliases that you
might build.  Ted will likely go on, but one never knows.  The name
info-hol@cs.uidaho.edu is better since the name cs.uidaho.edu will exist
for a long while yet.

As you know, I've moved to BYU.  For the time being, the lists will remain
at Idaho.  Even if they move, the Idaho address should continue to
function.  The anonymous FTP site will likely change, but again, we'll
leave bread crumbs so you can find your way to the correct place.  

In the near future, we will be supporting a World Wide Web homepage for HOL
with documentation, information, archived info-hol messages, and FTP sites
for HOL and AKCL.  Stand by for a future announcement.

Sorry for any inconvinience that Ted's problems have caused.
