We work closely with Dave and chose to use his compiler because we needed a reliable implementation vehicle for LAMBDA. We have undertaken to commercialise the compiler precisely because we appreciate and value his achievement. For those who may be interested, some of Dave's papers on Poly/ML are available as a technical report "Papers on Poly/ML" from Cambridge. Mike
