To: prospective HUG93 participants We are planning a three hour sailing excursion on English Bay abroad a fleet of skippered 20 foot sailing boats on Tuesday, August 3rd (the day before the start of the workshop). The boats will depart from Granville Island (between UBC and downtown Vancouver) at 14:00. The cost is $48 (Canadian dollars) which includes some on-board refreshments. HUG'93 participants as well as accompanying persons are welcome. You may reserve a place in one of these boats by sending a completed copy of the following form to hug93@cs.ubc.ca (with "SAILING" in the Subject field) by the end of this week, Friday June 18. Alternatively, you may send a completed copy of the form by fax to (604) 822-5485. The number of boats reserved for this expedition will be based on the number of responses received by June 18. You may still ask us to reserve you a place in a boat after June 18, but this will all depend on the availability of extra boats.
