I thought it was time I issued a reminder that there is an archive of the
info-hol mailing list available for FTP. It's now passed the 1000 message
mark, and I have rearranged the files somewhat. The FTP site is:

  ftp.cl.cam.ac.uk [128.232.0.56]

and the archive is based in the directory:

  hvg/info-hol-archive

The full contents are listed in the file:

  00Index

and the messages are grouped into hundreds (or 99 in the first case!) in
subdirectories:

  00xx, 01xx, 02xx, 03xx etc.

Each of these subdirectories has a corresponding compressed tarfile:

  00xx.tar.Z, 01xx.tar.Z, 02xx.tar.Z, 03xx.tar.Z etc.

which I hope makes it easier to pull down large numbers of messages at once
(don't forget to set binary mode!)

Corrections, or additions from people who have messages missing from the
archive (there are a lot from the early years), are always welcome. Please send
things to |jrh@cl.cam.ac.uk|.

John.
