Dr. Greaves again seemed happy with the progress of the group, and made the point that we didn't need to print out the source-code, as a pointer to an on-line copy would have been sufficient.
He also, said "that it would be nice if the winning group" implemented the memory delay that was present in the EDSAC, as a result of how its physical memory was constructed. We gathered that this was due to the fact that the ripple in the memory tanks actually took some time to travel, hence the name "mercury delay line".
We also talked about deliverables, and specifically what was needed for the next review: a working project. Personal project reports, and transparancies for the presentation at the end do not need to be delivered by the 26th, but instead by the final submission date of the 5th of March.
After this brief review, we decided to hold a short meeting.
