Agenda

  1. Check status of coding before "Code-O-Rama"

Minutes

Amazingly, we all managed to turn up! David remembered that he needed to contact Frank King about looking at the video of EDSAC in operation - this will help with designing an accurate GUI. A quick run-round of the group revealed that little progress had been made over the weekend, so we made sure we were up to date with what was happening.

NameProgress
mjb67No changes from last time. Unavailable for portions of Tuesday afternoon.
tdb26Accumulator multiplication still broken, unlikely to be fixed by Tuesday, but Simon Frankau's Memory and Accumulator do compile, so can be integrated and fixed later.
dgd21Will contact Frank King, and give Matthew a hand with some documentation
cehf2CPU pretty much done, will be done and "working" by Tuesday
sgf22Working on Kernel bits: the Kernel itself, and the TapeReader, TeleTyper and Kernel locking mechanisms. Suspects a lot of that work will be done in the group on Tuesday
sjf34GUI "works"
sag25GUI <-> Kernel interface "works" as specified

We agreed to spend Tuesday afternoon, from 1pm until "done", getting the code to work together. It's unlikely that will suffice, so Thursday has been preliminarily reserved for further coding.
