Previous Research

Networking

I have been actively involved in networking research in 1993/94; 1995; 2000-2003; and since 2006.

Physics

My PhD is in physics from the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge. I was a member of the Interdisciplinary Research Centre (IRC) in Superconductivity, and of the Low Temperature Physics Group (now merged and renamed the Shoenberg Laboratory for Quantum Matter). My PhD is entitled "Thermal Conductivity of Single Crystals of Yttrium-Based High Temperature Superconductors", and the front matter and first two chapters (introduction and theory) are available here. Please contact me if you want to read more of it.
