I am a PhD candidate in the Digital Technology Group (DTG) at the Computer Laboratory, University of Cambridge. I am working with Dr. Ian J. Wassell on the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs).
My research is concerned with the planning and optimisation of Wireless Sensor Networks for monitoring the large-scale aging civil infrastructure, e.g., bridges, water pipelines and underground tunnels. I am also working on the wireless channel measurements and channel modelling for WSNs in these environments.
Before starting my PhD, I was an undergraduate student at the University of York from 2002 to 2007. I have received the MEng (Honours) Degree (first class) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of York in 2007.
