0. LICENSE
The license is defined by this file, which includes this and all the following clauses (numbered starting from 0).
1. SCOPE
All the hardware design files related to the Smart Card Detective (SCD), including Eagle board files (.brd), schematics (.sch) and gerber files (.drd, .gbl, .gbo, .gbs, .gtl, .gto, .gts and any other extensions), are bounded by this license.
2. LIMITED PERSONAL USE
The files provided with the Smart Card Detective (the scope of this license) are provided as open source for personal use only. This means you (the individual) have the right to modify the files and use them to build your own device. But you cannot use these files in order to build multiple copies of the device in the scope of commercialisation (see next clause).
3. NO RIGHT OF COMMERCIALISATION
You cannot use these files for commercialisation of the SCD. This means that you cannot use these files (or any modified version of them) to build instances of the device for the scope of selling or distributing. This license does not grant you this right.
4. NO GPL LICENSE
The SCD hardware files (including schematics, Eagle board design and Gerber files) are not distributed under the GPL license (any version of it). Although the software for the SCD is distributed under the GPL license, the hardware files are not. This is the only license that applies to the hardware design files available freely.
