MINGLE 2003 is the final workshop of the four year EU-funded MINGLE project (Multiresolution in Geometric Modelling). Papers will be presented by three invited speakers (Hugues Hoppe, Jörg Peters, and Ulrich Reif) and by both senior acadamics and young researchers from all of the partners in the MINGLE project. The papers include the most recent research in the field along with surveys of recent advances.

MINGLE covers: thinning of triangle meshes, coding of triangle meshes, remeshing, multiresolution deformation, hierarchical meshes, data structures for heirarchical and nested triangulations, subdivision surfaces, wavelets in geometric modelling, and parameterization for multiresolution.
