About MINGLE 2003MINGLE 2003 was the final workshop of the four year EU-funded MINGLE project (Multiresolution in Geometric Modelling). Papers were presented by three invited speakers (Hugues Hoppe, Jörg Peters, and Ulrich Reif) and by both senior acadamics and young researchers from all of the partners in the MINGLE project. The papers included the most recent research in the field along with surveys of recent advances. The majority of the papers are to be published in the proceedings book.MINGLE covers: thinning of triangle meshes, coding of triangle meshes, remeshing, multiresolution deformation, hierarchical meshes, data structures for heirarchical and nested triangulations, subdivision surfaces, wavelets in geometric modelling, and parameterization for multiresolution. |
