Menglin Xia

I am currently a PhD student in the Natural Language and Information Processing (NLIP) group at the Computer Laboratory of the University of Cambridge, supervised by Prof. Ted Briscoe. My reasearch is mainly on text readability and summarization for reading comprehension assessment.

Before my PhD, I gained the Mphil degree in Advanced Computer Science at the University of Cambridge in 2014. And before that, I finished the Bachelor of Engineering degree in Automation at Zhejiang Univeristy in 2013.

I am a member of Lucy Cavendish College since 2013.

Teaching

I supervise Part II Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning and Bayesian Inference and Information Retrieval in the Computer Science Tripos.
