Malcolm Sabin at CUCL
Malcolm is associated with the Computer Laboratory through MINGLE , an EU-funded project which supports the transfer of young researchers between European countries using the excuse of research into Multiresolution shape representations.
His own interest is in subdivision surfaces, and in making them practical tools for the design of smooth shapes.
He also has an association with the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, and runs a course on CAGD there.
In his spare time he runs the company Numerical Geometry Ltd. which provides consultancy services and software relating to numerical representations of shape.
