The following operations can be performed on a managed object to manipulate
the values of its attributes:

Get attribute value: reads and returns the requested attribute values

Set attribute value: sets values of specifies attributes to the supplied values.

Derive attribute value: sets the values of the specified attributes
in accordance with a specified derivation rule (e.g. set to
default).

Add attribute value: adds additional values to a set-valued attribute
-
Remove attribute value: removes values from a set-valued attribute.
The following operations apply to managed objects as a whole and their impact
is generally not confined to modifications of attribute values:

Create: creates a new managed object.

Delete: deletes an existing managed object.
-
Action: performs an task which is defined by the managed object class.
